In Real Time is a fiscally-sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of In Real Time must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
What is fiscal sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship means your gift is tax-deductible, even though the project you're supporting isn't its own nonprofit. An established 501(c)(3) acts as the project's home base, sharing its tax-exempt status so the project can receive donations and grants without building all that infrastructure from scratch.
When you give to In Real Time through Fractured Atlas, your donation goes to Fractured Atlas, who passes it along to In Real Time directly. It's a way for us to focus on what we do best while still offering you the same tax benefits you'd get from giving to any nonprofit.

Make your check payable to Fractured Atlas (only "Fractured Atlas," not In Real Time or any other name) and write "In Real Time" in the memo line.
